Do you know how to manage or control your neighbor’s computer no matter where its location? Or even do the support remotely?
Here’s how:
Actually there are a lot ways on how to do it, but I’ll just teach you how to do it free of charge. Yes free of charge because the program is already built-in in Windows. No need to buy a third-party application to manage or control your neighbor’s computer. Let’s start.
1. First we will be using an application called Windows Netmeeting, this type of application must be coordinated for both side, meaning you must know the IP Address of the host. Either of you can become a host, it will vary on who will gonna control the computer.
2. Netmeeting uses only a PUBLIC IP ADDRESS if the other computer is not within your network. But if it is within your network its fine, it will also work.
3. To launch Netmeeting manually, click on Start/Run then type CONF; if not yet configured just follow the instructions to configure. Once configured and if the firewall displays to Block or Unblock the program, just click Unblock button.
4. To connect, type the Public IP Address of your neighbor’s computer.
5. If the connection established, ask your friend or neighbor to click on Tools Menu of his/her Netmeeting, then click Sharing then under Share Programs, click on Desktop and then click on Share button.
6. Click on Allow Control button to authorize you to control your friends’ computer.
7. That’s it, a dialog box will appear concerning your friends Desktop, you have now the control of your friend’s computer.
8. To disconnect just click on the Hang Up button of your Netmeeting.
What if your friend’s Internet Connection has a NAT Config? Meaning the IP Address is not Public. Can we still remotely configure his/her computer? The answer is YES. We can use the powerful program built-in from Windows and its called Remote Assistance.

Microsoft windows xp & vista can establish peer to peer connection even with your private address using teredo service. If you wish to use netmeeting & your behind NAT.. You can try this software which usually i use to do netmeeting with my sister both of our PC have only private address.
